Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Asher, [were] forty and one thousand and five hundred.
And those that encamp by him [shall be] the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher [shall be] Pagiel the son of Ocran.
[Of] the children of Asher after their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites: of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites: of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.
These [are] the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them; [who were] fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
And of Asher he said, [Let] Asher [be] blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.
And the border of Manasseh was from Asher to Michmethah, that [lieth] before Shechem; and the border went along on the right hand to the inhabitants of En-tappuah.
Southward [it was] Ephraim's, and northward [it was] Manasseh's, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.

And the children of Gershon [had] by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
Neither did Asher expel the inhabitants of Accho, nor the inhabitants of Zidon, nor of Ahlab, nor of Achzib, nor of Helbah, nor of Aphik, nor of Rehob:
Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea-shore, and abode in his breaches.
And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was called after him: and he sent messengers to Asher, and to Zebulun, and to Naphtali; and they came up to meet them.

The sons of Asher; Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishua, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.
And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand.
Nevertheless, divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
And by the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, a [portion for] Asher.
