And as Josiah turned himself, he espied the sepulchers that [were] there on the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchers, and burned [them] upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.
And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets [declare] good to the king with one consent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.
Go, inquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel, and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great [is] the wrath of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book.
Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, Behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book from the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
Therefore say to them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be further deferred, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
And he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to thee, and stand upright: for to thee I am now sent. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which [voice] they that heard, entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter to you in few words.
And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart from that house, or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
And behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words which shall be fulfilled in their season.

But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
And they remembered his words,
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
When they had heard [these words], they marveled, and left him, and departed.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
